If you're looking to do your own blog wordpress is a great place to start. http://wordpress.com/ . You don't have to drag a laptop down the Amazon. I've never had trouble finding an internet cafe. They're cheap, I live in Seattle and buying a cup of tea gets you half an hour free. It's also a great virtual scrapebook. One word of worning, pictures take forever to download, so wait until you get home or use a photoshare website like flicker . JD Rocks!
